As part of the Technology in Learning and Teaching (TILT) series of presentations, Math instructor Katherine Gray will be giving a presentation entitled, “Using SoftChalk to Engage Students Online and Improve the Online Learning Environment” that will center around her use of the content authoring tool, SoftChalk. She says, “My talk will be focused on what I plan to do with SoftChalk and why I chose to use it to supplement my online Vista resources.”
According to http://softchalk.com, if you can use a word processor, you can create interactive learning experiences with SoftChalk. And, content developed in SoftChalk is portable for use in virtually any learning management system [including Blackboard Vista] or on any web server.” The talk will take place in Meriam Library in Room 031 on Wed.
